Jim: Remove dust cap, straighten & pull cotter pin, remove lock nut. Then tighten adjuster nut to 90 IN LBS then align the lock nut over the adjuster nut aligned with the drilled hole in spindle. Then back both nuts off one slot and install cotter pin. Just spread the cotter pin to keep it from pulling out. Cut of the excess length, reinstall dust cap. Now would be a good time to add some grease to at least the outer bearing. Are you familiar with repacking bearings?
