Butch,That item number you cited shows a pov (plain ol vanilla)'64 Plymouth hood ornament. The big blocks did not have the red white & blue, and had a horizontal cross member on the bottom of the hood ornament which depicted the engine size. You said you have the 383 version. I had a 361, which was a blue "361" on a silver background. The 426 had a similar portrayal with the 426 being of a different color on a different color background (can't recall what the colors were), but the ebay item you were looking at meant a Sport Fury with the 318.Jack Lewis '56 Fury '62 Dodge Polara 500 former owner of a purchased new '64 Sport Fury----- Original Message ----- From: "Butch Edison" <waedison1@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2008 7:56 PM Subject: 64 Sport Fury hood ornamentI have a 64 SF with a 383. It has the correct hood ornament with "383" onit. Does the SF with a 426 or 440 have the same type of ornament as the 383? I'm looking at this hood ornament on ebay and don't know if it's correct fora 426 or not.
