How much difference?

Here are two very similar cars listed on Ebay.  250264687830 and 
270251334446.  The lower priced car did list a few small things needing 
to be done.  But do these little projects plus a crossram and two carbs 
justify a difference of $31,860?????  And the one didn't make the 
reserve at $42K!
