Reg. vs. silicone brake fluid?

What are your opinions on using silicone brake fluid instaed of regular 
fluid in our cars? Do you have to replace all of the hoses and 
cylinders, etc? Or can you just bleed the silicone fluid through the 
wheel cylinders?
