RE: 4 to 2 door (was RE: 63 Dodge - 2 door post)



Hey Neal, that's some impressive conversion work! I'm not much of a 
welder, but I recently had a buddy teach me how to fab small patches and 
weld them in. I've thought about this conversion several times as 4 
doors are generally a lot cheaper than 2 doors, but I have a question... 
you did a lot of work turning a hardtop door into a sedan door. I 
realize this is what you had to work with, but I'd like to know if you 
could use a 2 door sedan front door, and if so how many hours do you 
think it would save? I just sold a nice 65 Dart 4 door, but from my 
research I think the Dart could have been turned into a 2 door sedan, 
too.
