Ok so this is apples and oranges 'cause my car is a 4 door but I bought 
my '64 Dodge Polara 4 dr 318 auto in 2001 with about 72K apparently 
original miles on it and I paid $1,100 and a 12ga shotgun. That's about 
my upper limit. It has some rust in the quarters and surface stuff 
around the trunk. And it has been in a front end accident which tweaked 
the RF a bit. I haven't touched the body or paint yet and may never get 
to it. I just want it to run.
