I have had major alignment problems with my 65 Satellite and looking for advice myself. Have read the latest posts here and still do not have answers. The rubbers on the strut bars have been changed. The front end has no worn parts, all bad tie rods ends, ball joints, A frame bushings, etc have been changed. I did change from 14" to 15" wheels. My problem has been castor. No problem on the passenger side but the drivers side has given me heck. Had to install offset bushings in the drivers side (one offset in the other out). I had to lower the suspension height to get the castor within adjustment tolerances. Being it is power steering I need -1 degree but was only able to get it to 0. The car does drive straight and the alignment feels great.BUT. now I have suspension problems. With the lowered front end my shocks are not traveling the full distance. I did add sway bars and this has shown a 95% improvement. Have been told that I have frame issues, but I do not believe this as the car has no signs for major damage during its restoration. I feel that the whole problem lays in the adjustment of the torsion and strut bars but can find no info on this. Any discussion on this subject will be appreciated. Love it when we get the words flying on here as it makes my morning coffee so much more enjoyable !!! Love ya all !! and our old Mopars !!! I really love it when someone asks.what car is that??
