I have the early pre-66 torque convertor for a Poly if you need one to create a High Stall unit; that way it will fit your current spline count unless you want to change the input shaft.
I run a '65 slip yoke 727 trans with my Poly.

Also converter splines are different (I think that and the lack of a rear
pump started for the '67 model year). Pre-65 727's will have ball & trunion
u-joints instead of cross & roller (slip yoke).
Filters are different too because of the two pumps. If you don't see
listings for pre-66 stuff, you need to find a less generic supplier.
Everything you could need is available except a few of the hard parts.
