 uh sorry iwas snoozen. 
I have palyed aroundwith turbos and i did put a magnson blower on a 160o colt once. Stil got pictures ofit ere in myold drag car album. Worked good to. BUT
Y he best i have ever seen was built by my crazy cousin Cecil Farrington. for tractor pulling.  
Cecil had bought a BIG international 2 wd tractor for pulling. it came with a 6V71 GMC diesel. 
GMc deisels are two strokes and use the roots type blower we see on al the darg cars to supply te intake side of the strok trough a series of small ports inthe cylinder sleeve. This traftor which was a hi HP version had a set of turbos to supply the added boost which brings the diesel out of the dark ages and on even footing iwth unblown gas engines. 9pay atention to what i just said. There is a hidden message there. ) The club said cecil coldnt run it because it had more than one supercharger even though the roots blower is only supplying intake stoke function because tis a two stroke. Cecil said "Fine. I use comperessed air. and he did.  I know Iknow you can find a hundred diffeent websites where tis s bee discussed and al the wiggy wanks know exactly why it wouldnt work ut luckily for us cecil didnt know that and went about building a flapper vave in the intake operated by a small ari cyinb der and he adapted a regulator originally designed to floe large volume of liquid for use with compressed air. Actually the regulator doest know the difference Cecil says. e installed a truck compressor  on the engine with a stock GMC truck raketry and installed three air tanks in the chasis at various spots. he plumbed the wole thing together. I sawi at picon after about a years runnning. if you ave never heard a 6v71 at 6500 RPm you havent lived yet.  . I asked cecil if he had any roblems . yes he said the shaft in the trans turns sofast that the dslider gear which sits on the main saft sins too fast for lurication and turns the shaft blue. About once a year it eventually just busts and i have to replace it.  Thomas Edison onc said inventions are made by peole too stupid to kow they wont work.  That is waht he said but it was a tongue n cheek comment. Cecil is stupid like a fox! he doidnt know the exerts said it was imossie but just combined his knowledge as a heating contractor and as a farm boy and built it and it worked erfect from thr git go. He phoned to tell me e has a system almsot collcted for my senoir Dagster 6cly. I would like torun it but am holding him at bay because the whole sr drag thing was to test snowmobile carbs on a /6. Still i know from watching his it will work. and takes no energy once the tank s pumped up so all gains are pure. noexhaust restriction, no excessive heat, no blower drivesad parisitic losses  just good cool boost.  More than most could use. he said he currently runs at 28 psi manifold ressure.
