Dont go too thin, or it'll just burn through in a short time. I use thin
heat duct metal, cut to appropriate size. 1 tip,,,make sure you put the
sheet metal piece between the cylinder head and the gasket, otherwise the
exhaust gasses will burn through the gasket material. I also put a bead of
silicone sealer around the port before installing the sheet metal block-off
plate.

Rich,
Go to your local model hobby shop and pick up a small piece of thin,
aluminum sheet metal. They sell it very thin. Cut out two little
squares that will cover the openings in the gaskets. Then put the
gaskets on the heads, and seal these little squares over the gasket
holes, and install the intake manifold as normal.

(This is a 318 poly +.040".) How do I do this in the most unobtrusive
way? In case I want to reverse this in the future.
