Re: paint color behind the grille and headlamps?




FYI:

my white 63 Fury?is Newark built and is flat black behind the grille
my black 63 Fury is Detroit built and is not
my red 67 Satellite is St Louis built and is flat black

I was told that dark colored cars didnt get the blackout, but the rest did.

If I remember correctly, my 73 Dart Sport is "almost black" in that it
was obviously sprayed Top Banana first, and then partially but not
completely sprayed black.
