Re: 63 330 at Moshers

this is kinda of a cool web site for designing or redesigning your own
state license plate, from the 60's. and there's custom frames too, although not like those dealer plates. I like using the site to create plates for scale models!
check it out, maybe there's a link to something?

also, I live near Mosher's and go by there every once and awhile.
and although he's usually pretty busy, so I try to bring something...
but it ain't easy for the guy that has everything... man, some of the
stuff in his dumpster?!?!

Thanks to everyone who's responded.

The ebay suggestion sounds good, I'll keep an eye out. It sounds a bit
optimistic to expect Mr Mosher to be forthcoming with any info, or at
best give up his frame for an annonymous foreign Moparite, but if
someone was able to ask in person I'd be interested to at least hear
where that one came from.

Thanks again

The 1963 Chrylser parts catalogue lists one hood for the 1963 Dodge. As
the
bracing was welded into place (you can see the four points where it was
attached to the main bracing) it would not take much for someone to
remove
it. And anyone into body work could make it appear there never was one
there.

As for the license plate frames, those were (are) dealer issued items.
If
you are lookng for one from a dealer no longer in existence, place want
ads
in car club publications and websites. And keep an eye out on eBay. It
is
amazing the stuff that gets put up for sale
