If you or someone has a 1963 parts book maybe there were two hoods with two different pn's produced; that manufacturing practice seems costly and unlikely in retrospect, as low production specialty max wedge cars could more easily have the bracing removed as part of the process of building these. 2c Plate surround would be a swap meet item. Maybe some of the members here in the Inglewood, California area could keep an eye out for one for you. Or you can watch ebay or/and place a "wanted" ad. Gary H.
