Clear DayHi all, this one has got me.I don't have any oil pressure!! Engine
has about 60-70miles on it,(440 block) and the oil pressure was good. Idle
about 20 lbs, cold it would go to about 60-70 lbs. Yesterday I started it up
to wash it, and noticed there was no oil pressure. I checked the line and it
had cracked, so I replaced the line , still no pressure, so I got another
gauge, nothing. If I rev it up to about 3 grand it goes to about 25 lbs.
Also the little plastic tubing, just has spots of oil, I mean there will be
some oil an maybe a space and then some more oil, not a steady stream of oil
in the tube. Any ideas? Could it be the pump? The engine doesn't sound any
different then it did before, still sounds strong and no clatter What's
up?? Oil pump is new, it is a high volume pump...
