Paul, this has me completely puzzled.  I believe you, but why do you 
think this is so?  I have a 2200-2500 Hughes street converter with 
3:23's, getting about 11 mpg.  I wanted to switch to 2:93's, but now I 
wonder.  BTW, my converter sure feels stock, as I notice no slipping or 
unusual revving.
