I see that my carbs are mounted to the manifold with only paper thin
gaskets. Would a spacer or other gasket combo reduce heat to the carbs
further reducing my vaporization problem.
I notice that raising the carbs will cause air cleaner clearance
problems. My hood has the full frame, with insulation. The insulation
retaining clip is hitting the left front corner of the left air
cleaner.
Looks like I'll be cutting the hood frame. I'm open to remarks from
anyone who's been this route.
