Hi all Just got around to sorting thru my pics from our UK version of the Mopar Nats, held the last weekend of July. Not quite on the scale of the 'real' Nats, but supposed to be the largest Mopar gathering outside of the States. That said, and despite the event's name, we do treat it more of a 'muscle car/American car' event than just Mopar, as if we limited it to just the one make, we wouldnt get enough cars to keep the event going. So, you'll have to excuse the odd pic of F*rds & Ch*vys, and also the odd 'people' pics - I also posted these on our club's messageboard where the faces would mean more to most of the people looking in. We did manage to get our Polara down the 1/4 for the 1st time that weekend, survived without any problems, but on the whole disappointed with a best of 14.5 @ 95. We've kept the car as close to stock specs as we can, but still have it useable for all the events we want to attend, so that was on radial tires, with no burnout & no grip. And with the exh caps left on (stock appearing rules!). Still more to do to get into the 13's (and beyond?), but that'll probably have to wait till next year. The pale blue 63 Plymouth in the pics has recently gone the '440 with maxie bolt-ons route' so is currently the only other 'max-wedge' engined car over here. There is another being built but has not been finished yet. The pics are in 2 photobucket albums, each with a few pages, so might be best viewed as a slideshow. http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/rob426uk/Mopar%20EuroNats%202007_1/ http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/rob426uk/Mopar%20EuroNats%202007_2/ Robert 63 Polara 500 England ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
