Coil leaking oil

hi all,

in all the mopars ive had i stumbled across a first for me today.  i  
pulled the coil to distributor wire tonight to find the "coil end"  
soaked in oil.
Maybe common ailment?  i dont know.  Im assuming the coil  is about  
to become toast?
could that leaking coil be an electrical draw while the car is  
parked?  im assuming it also would not be putting out the voltage it  
should.

Any thoughts>?
