Driveshaft Help!

Hi Gang;
My '64 Dodge 330 Max Wedge clone is nearing completion
and I need a driveshaft. Originally it was a 318,
pushbutton with the ball and trunion shaft. Now It's a
440 with a '65 pushbutton tranny (using the standard
slip joint yoke) I don't have a yoke to measure for a
driveshaft. Wouldn't a standard 65 driveshaft fit? Can
a few of you measure your driveshaft to give me the
measurement I will need. The procedure is to measure
with the car's weight on all four tires and measure
the length from the front u-joint centerline to the
rear u-joint centerline.
Or for me it may be best to measure from the 727 case
tail end to the centerline of the rear u-joint. Any
help would be apreciated My rear end is a 742 with a
7290 yoke.
Thanks!
Don Carson
