What I find interesting is the people I run into whose cars came with 
11"x3" drums in the front, who switch to disc brakes.  If those babies 
are working properly, the car will most assuredly stop.  If any of you 
have these brakes, splurge on ceramic shoes.  I have them on the back 
and they're great.
