You might try looking at one of those kits filled with a variety of plumbing washers etc. I think I remember having some washers that are @ 1/4" thick that would go over tubing of @ 1/2" - 5/8" dia. I haven't had one of these control valves apart so I'm not able to picture what your working on but you might find something in one of these kits. Paul L.
