Re: Electrical wire terminals

I'm partial to Terminal Supply Company _http://www.terminalsupplyco.com/_
(http://www.terminalsupplyco.com/) They sell a lot of different types of
terminals and tools. Some of the really basic terminals and connectors are only
sold in lots of 100, but the specialty stuff like Packard 56 and 59 terminals
are sold individually. The best way to order with them is to request a
catalog, make a list of the stuff you want by part number, and then call the 1-800
 number.

I buy wire from Del City _www.delcity.net_ (http://www.delcity.net) because
they sell smaller spools where all the other places start at 100' lengths and
go up from there.

I'll echo the sentiments on the quality crimpers too. The tool for the
Packard terminals cost me a nice chunk of change, but it's worth it. And Klein
makes a nice crimper for the uninsulated terminals. The dime-store crimpers
they sell in the autoparts stores don't even come close to making a decent
crimp, so don't waste your money on those.
