Front swaybar

Has anybody installed a addco front swaybar on there 65 b-body?
I just installed it on my coronet and it just does not look correct.
The bend in the middle of the bar is very close to the crank pulley and the  
end links are rubbing
against the control arm.
Just wondering what others have experienced.
