Heater

Hey guys, I just saw a 64 Belvedere heater box on Ebay and the water 
control valve is different than the one in my 64 Polara. Mine has some 
type of heat control spring that screws into the side of the box that 
controls a valve on the top of the copper tubes...this plunger is what 
is leaking on mine. I would think they would be the same control on both 
non A/C cars. Am I wrong? I could probably fix mine if it didn't have 
the extra controls. Ebay item #220088521226. Anybody have any input to 
this?
