Same here! Our 63 hardtop has its front up on jackstands at the moment, while the shifter cable is out, and we've not been able to open or shut the doors properly since jacking her up! I can see that a sedan would have no trouble but a convertible has got to be even worse!!

It's the unibody flexing. Does the same on my 2 dr. HT Polara.
