yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the bolt pattern is of a smaller diameter  on most of 
the higher stall convertors,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am guessing that you are  using the 
proper flex plate bolts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they do have thinner heads  than 
standard bolts
