Re: DC Historical Docs

Just send them what they asked for. This is not a VIN tag and Broadcast manufacturing offer. You could sent them a VIN from the junkyard and get the info on that.

I don't recall the delivery time but I don't think it was over a few weeks.

Don,

The DC site says they only need VIN and copy of the title, but should
I send them everything I have? Including pic of fender tag, & a copy
of the buildsheet too? Also, how long did it take to get the info back
from them?

I got a letter with the Serial # decoded, the dealer information, and
exterior and interior colors.

Also, three copies of the punch card with the code numbers. The punch
cards were not very good copies so it makes it a challenge to pull off
the option numbers. They do NOT decode the card to tell you what
options came with your car. I do have a dealer handbook which list all
the codes for the '65 Plymouths. If Gary H wants to post it, I can PDF
it and sent it to him. Galen Govier's white books have the code
numbers, too.

I think the DC Historical stuff at $45 is worth it. I also find Galen's
books good although it takes $45 to cover the three books that deal with
our 62-65 Mopars.
