It sounds like the plate on the back of the steering wheel centerpiece might have broken from the rivets. You'll need to take it off and either look for another center or find someone that could repair the broken. Think of it this way, Atleast the button itself didn't break. Mine broke 2 years ago and every time you turned the steering wheel the horn blew!
