pinion angle help!!!!!!

Hey guys, I've been trying to install some MP super stock springs on my wagon. They are the 3800 pounders too, and cost a pretty penny. Well, I have one side bolted up and tight to the axle, and the other side still has as stock spring but the u-bolts are taken off. So geometrically things should be sitting as their going to sit when completed I'm thinking. Well, at the moment, if I were to draw a straight line out of the yolk on the rear end straight out, it would end up several inches above my transmission. And this is with the car sitting on its frame on jack stands...Might just be me, but I think I might have a problem here.

oh, and by the way, I am using MP spring hangers too. I re-drilled them 3.5 inches from the front of the hanger at the same height as the bottom holes they come with.

Will things settle in when I put the car on wheels and roll it? Or do I have a serious problem here? If I do, does MP make shackles that are short enough to solve the problem, or am I gonna have to cut the spring mounts off of the axles and move them?

For the time being, I'm going to finish the installation, and put the car on its wheels, and move it forward to see what happens.
