Jim, 8.75 axles are a dime a dozen... Original A body housings are a bit hard to locate, but you don't need one. They go for crazy amounts. An early B body is an easy swap, just one inch wider. Just use more off set on your rims. You can find any 8.75 housing and have it cut down to A body width for not to much money. Moser does it for $150.00. You can even have C body axles cut and re-splined. This is not a hard as you think.
