65 cables

got a question for u guys.. A buddy has a  1965 dodge coronet factory
slant 6/ auto on the column.
   he wants to  put in a big block. he has acess to the correct '65 big
   block tranny , but he wants to know if he can use the  cables from
   the six cylinder setup or if he needs to buy different cables
