Joe,  I have a 66 Belvedere--no inside hood release, has a 383 hood
ornament, factory engine was a 273, now has a 440, what a mess!!!  My 66
Belvedere race car also did not have inside hood release!!  I give
up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  HAND----Red
