I checkd for you. Their website says the 727's got the part throttle kickdown for the '71 model year. It also says the 904 got it before the 727.

If you dig around A&A Transmission's website, they sell a conversion kit to
add part throttle kickdown to earlier units. I believe in the description
for their kit, they mention when the change took place.

Can anyone tell me when the big block 727 transmission was changed to
allow a part-throttle kickdown?  I'm pretty sure it's in the '70's.
