Fellow members:
I want to warn all of you dealing on Ebay. I have just finished 4 days
resurrecting my account because it was hijacked. The hijacker started listing
motorcycles under my ID with short auctions and prices at least 1/4 actual value.
While I was on with Ebay, the count of Motorcycles went from1 to 28.
Thankfully, they were canceled. But, the hijacker went into my account he had stolen
and send negative (very negative) feedbacks to those I bought from and even
to me. How did this happen? Pay attention: I received an ebay notice of bid
cancellation. I opened the file and that was the ball game! If you know you did
not bid on something but are not sure, take the item number and go to
search. You will then know the email is phony. As careful as I am, I have spent
about 5 hours over the last 4 days trying to correct the hijackers deliberate
actions. So, please beware!
Sincerely,
Sherwood Kahlenberg
