Pretty much right on. Your buddy would be better off selling that intake to someone that needs it for a 64-65 and buying a Edlebrock Performer intake. Grind off the logo on the performer and paint it red and you will be good to go.

the attaching bolt diameter is smaller on the earlier 273 manifold.I`am not
sure but the bolt angle may be different.
