Hi all,
I'm back in town now after evacuating for hurricane Rita. I'll try to get things back to normal as fast as I can. I have about 250 e-mails to check out (some good Mopar reading) and at least as many "to do's" (some fun and some not much fun) on the endless IN pile.
Thanks to those who wished me well. Your thoughts were answered! The good news for me is no personal injuries or Mopar or house damage occurred. I feel very lucky. There was minimal yard/tree damage and we lost all the food in the freezer and the refrigerator. That's it.
I have some Mopar friends in the Beaumont / Port Arthur Texas area that I have not been able to contact. I hope they are safe & had evacuated before Rita struck. Hurricanes are sober reminders to cherish what you have in family, friends and Mopars. You never know when and how fast things can and do change dramatically.
I guy I know had a tree flatten his '68 Charger during the Rita winds, for example. :-(
Anyway, I'm glad to be back in the ?'62 to '?65 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse among some good Mopar friends. :-)
Gary H.
