cool , thanks guys, all good news, i knew about the floor surgery and
the e-body shifter needing to be swapped out, i was just more worried
about the clutch linkage setup , but it sounds do-able.
   So let me get this straight - its not only the stubby e-body pistil
   grip handle that needs to go but evrything between that and the
   tranny , like the rods.
    I was hoping just the long b-body  pistol grip handle  was all i
    would need .
      who makes these shifters now?
