I would like to suggest the topic of safety equipment in the "old" cars.
My family would not get into the back of my 64 Dodge until I installed
seat belts.

What about the angle of air bags and updating the cars to have at least
shoulder harnesses. A lot of crash info could be had justifying the
safety equipment improvements versus the arguement that the cars may not
have been structurally strong enough in certain locations to simply add
the stuff.

I certainly see this topic as a valid arguement for either side.

What improvements could be suggested and how could it be done?

Picking the topic can be a hard decision but pick something that you can
really learn something from.

Good luck.

K.
