I found this info @ Hughes Engines: (c)=cast (f)=forged
Cranks Blocks (bare) Heads (assembled)
318/54 318/162 LA/56
340(f)/56 340/165 LA Eddy/32
360/58 360/165 RB/52
383(f)/66 383/214 RB Eddy/29
400/64 400/214
440(c)(f)/69 426W/219
451(c)(f)/67 440/219
4.51" MP/75
My early 400 block (bare w/caps) was 218 lbs. The 451 crank (a forged 440
with mains turned and counterweights milled .155") was right on at 67 lbs. My
78 400 cast crank was on at 64 lbs. Just something to compare others with.
