I had the same thing. dip stick read about 1 qt. over b8ut I reset the torson bars back to factory and it reads fine. If the car doesn't puke oil, then I'd mark the new "full" line with a hacksaw blade and move on. Still 95+ degrees. No smoke, but still a weird question --- I could swear the oil looks about 1 qt. high on the dipstick. I got a new filter, and watched the kid put 5 quarts into the car. He measured it out from the pumping line into large container, and used that to pour it into the crankcase. Strange. There's no particular valve noise, so I'm sure oil is circulating. And nothing from the idiot light at all, other than it glows bright when you first turn the key, as per normal. Should I be concerned? Should I loosen the plug and drain out a quart and then check the level again? Next question: Anybody know where one can find those old style, over-the-hump vinyl or rubber floor mats? Year One has them, but I'll be switched if I'll pay $135.00 for them. They don't have the color I need anyway, which is a kind of turquoisey-green. I'd settle for clear.
