To anyone interested

Today my long ongoing EFI conversion reached the top of the hill. It
runs. I stabbed the distributor this morning, set the timing by
approximation, and it fired right up. Runs like a top, better than I
expected.
So I drove it. Nowhere near the amount of power it used to have. So I
gave it some timing. Now its got plenty of power, and room for more
advance.
The only problems so far are not related to the EFI, but other things I
did at the same time. My new valve covers leaked badly because I did a
lousy job of installing them. I'll have that fixed tomorrow morning. The
only other problem is that the power steering pump I rebuilt doesn't
work at low RPM. That will be fixed by the end of the week.
Since it runs so surprisingly well, I also get to work on tuning it.

Just thought some of you might be interested to hear about it.
