Have you tried taking out the dist. and using a drill in reverse with a priming rod to try and re-prime it? in my experience, its takes more than a few feeble cranks to prime the pump. Even if this doesn't work, you can still turn stuff with it to problem solve rather than turning the entire engine with no oil pressure. Just an idea.

I'd also like to thank everyone for all the responses, it gave me some  
more ideas as this issue is driving me BAT@#$%! It's been a bad week for  
anything with a motor for me. Besides the Polara, my Dakota R/T wouldn't  
stay running after it sat without a battery for 3 days, then last nite I  
wanted to go for a ride, but my 1 year old Harley's battery was dead!  
Just wasn't my week! I DID have a good time at the Nats and Brice Rd.  
Friday nite. Sorry if I missed meeting anyone since I didn't drive the  
Polara.
