In addition to the high prices...
I have recently lost the bidding when it went too high for me, then had
the seller contact me and tell me I won because the winning bidder
backed out. The first time I bought the item, but after thinking about
it I wonder if sellers are bidding their own items up and the prices
don't really reflect the free market. Now I don't buy if I lost and I
am really starting to doubt some of the auctions I see.

Regards,
Ken

Subject: RE: '63 Plymouth parts on ebay

if u are talking the front lenses, they are made by someone now. i put a
pair on ebay and started it way low like i usually do and i was
horrified at what they jacked up to.
i just cant stand ebay anymore, especially with the starting prices
people begin with for that "rare Formula S bumper". Hmm, i didnt know
the formula s had a special bumper, must've been aluminum !
   dont even get me going.
to prove what an idiot I am i put a piece up on ebay recently and it
went sky high, way, way way more than it was worth. i emailed the
guy and told him I wasnt going to sell him the piece for that price
and we would have to cut a lower deal. Death to capitalism!!
