If a cam is just a cam, why not just use a chevy grind? I should think the semi-hemi would be less prone to detonation and could use a cam that built more cylinder pressure? I am no cam expert, but with the talk about cams designed for fords and chevies, the Poly head is FAR more exotic than a chevy head.
