my brother got suckered by the price also, he put what
was supposed to be the equivalent to the .484 cam in
his 383, the bump is gone at about 1000 rpm and it
starts floating at about 5000 rpm, he had a 509 purple
shaft in before without valves floating, we suspect
bad (cheap) lifters.
