I had 'floating power' engine mounts - something the TTI folks apparently
didn't know existed for my '62 Dart. I had to replace them with different
mounts - got them from Schumacher's.

The headers then fit just fine, except that my steering linkage rubs on the
passenger side header. I know the instructions talked about milling the
motor mount holes so the engine can slide back a bit, but I didn't do that.

So, I think that if I raise the motor 1/4 or so I'll have enough clearance
between the header and the steering linkage.

Thanks,
Brian

i always use a good wide board, no problems.
but do you have to raise the motor or are you doing
it per instructions?
the tti's slid right into mine on both sides, as long
as the car is high enough to get a good angle.
