i think they are 1/2 npt, at any plumming shop,'
with the brass, i had no need to use sealant.
just unscrew the pipe from the pump, i needed
a pipe wrench, results may vary, but most cars
at the track have the plugs, as opposed to the
short hose looping the two pipes together.

Tom
what size brass plugs did you use? did you use a thread sealer? Thanks.

i have brass plugs in my water-pump, where the hoses would connect, i have no overheating issues, plus it looks very clean.

Here's a simple one (hopefully) to start out the spring season ... my
'64 Fury has (had) factory A/C, and I am not tucking that monster heater

case back under the dash ... so ... until I get around (if ever) to
finding a non-A/C case, I am assuming there are no engine cooling issues

as a result of not running heater hoses, correct?

There is, of course, the downside of not having heat, but I don't plan
on much chilly weather driving (she's not a trailer queen, but
definitely a summer driver). I suppose the worst that can happen is
getting caught in a situation where I need the defroster (rain storm,
etc.)

Anyway, thoughts about not running heater hoses?

Thanks!
