hi tom,

i contacted JC Whit today,  theirs is out of stock for 3 to 4 weeks.
so by chance i stopped by my local Advanced Auto Parts....
go figure  : )

They had one,  just like my original one!

they had two types.....

one identical in black, mechanical
one all chrome, very very similar but electronic inside.

each was $11.00, i bought both.

im going to spraypaint the top cover area black on the chrome 
electronic one and install it.

i cant thank you all enough for your assistance.  ill report back the 
results.
