This has probably come up before, but since my memory doesnt work so well
anymore, perhaps someone can give me a quick answer.
My cousin just bought an old hemi to put in a bucket T. It was sold as a
392, but I'm skeptical. Lots of "funny" info about the whole motor. The
last old hemi I had was a 354, it had the distributor in the back of the
engine. I was thinking the 392 had the distributor in the front? Is
there a quick way to tell what the engine is ? Casting markings somewhere
like the B engines have ? Thanx for any info.
