Hi
So.....can you explain to me why the Chrysler system was deemed not
worthy.....
I modified my 1981 Dodge pickup (slant six) 4 speed (Overdrive) with the
Mopar performance single four intake and a single CARTER four barrel . I
ditched the ESA
and installed the Standard Chrysler ignition system (1982 & up with the
single ballast resistor & distributor slightly recurved ) You want
response... its excellent and if you could have seen some of the work that
little 225 has done you'd be amazed!
Besides properly installed , the Chrysler system is virtually invisible
...Electronic ignition reliability and the stock look all in one......win
win ......
Regards
Wally

Menko and I installed electronic ignition in his Lancer Monday using the
GM HEI module as mentioned on this list a few weeks ago. Once we got
confirmation from his buddy about the questions we had on the wiring
diagram, the installation was easy. He said the car was much more
responsive. I plan on this swap with my Polara soon.
